The company’s resistive multi-input touch panels are allegedly the first to obtain Windows 7 logo certification. The components tout increased functionality that promises to expand touch capability into unique applications and markets including harsh environments. Via proprietary technology, the resistive multi-input panels can process single-tap and multi-touch input from nearly any object using varying pressure, i.e., a gloved finger, credit card edge, standard pens, a light finger touch, etc. The panels support up to 32 simultaneous touch points, are lightweight, durable, and offer reliable performance in a variety of operating environments. Other reported features include low power consumption, high resolution, high accuracy, and low EMI. Fujitsu Components America Inc., Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 380-0059.
