Compatible with the company's spectrum analyzers and most radio test sets, EasySpan for Windows test data documentation software is now capable of synchronizing its waveform transfer capabilities with Global Positioning System (GPS) precision. The software tool can store, display and manipulate spectrum analyzer trace and setup data in database format. Programmable limit lines allow automatic capture of traces and setups.
With the new GPS capability, EasySpan allows signal strength and GPS location data to be combined and transferred into spreadsheet or contour-mapping programs. This application has the ability to both perform network coverage analysis and identify loss-of-power locations. In addition, new front panel controls allow remote adjustment of critical instrument settings, such as frequency and scan width.
The application can be downloaded for free from the company's website.
