Possessing two diode chips, Series RAB362 LED lamps are said to deliver exceptional illumination to make displays, keypads and legends easier to read while preserving the lightweight, compact nature of portable electronic devices. Designed for back- and edge-lighting applications, the RAB362 LEDs are said to have a longer operating life, superior brightness, lower voltage operation, and less heat emissions compared to alternative backlighting sources. These right-angle, single-level illuminators are targeted at applications where the design requires the light source to be perpendicular to the display plane. The LEDs measure 0.362''L x 0.043''W x 0.059''H and have a bi-pin design that achieves the stability necessary to align status indicators precisely. Series RAB362 LEDs come in ultra sunlight visible and standard intensity versions, both having water-clear lenses and 120° angles. Pricing ranges from $0.75 to $4.95 each/100 or more.
