Three extended temperature range models have been added to the company's line of resistive touch panels. The panels feature an operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and a 10% to 90% operating relative humidity (non-condensing) range. An 88%-transmissive panel model enhances readability for use in bright light or outdoor conditions. A series of index matching coatings are applied to the panels’ glass and film surfaces to help reduce reflected light, and an anti-glare, 3H hardcoat finish, along with the company’s high-performance, anti-smudge technology, are applied to the panel’s surface to further enhance image clarity. Rated at over one million finger touches, the products include 6.5" 82%- and 88%-transmissive panels and a 7.0" 82%-transmissive panel. All are wide aspect ratio (16:9), have 1.1 mm glass, and a 50 mm length flex tail. Available immediately, the RoHS-compliant touch panels are priced starting at $19.00 each/1,000.
