In compact, industry-standard PLCC-4 packages the ASMT-QTC0 family of high-brightness, blackbody tricolor surface-mount LEDs are suitable for use in indoor full color signs and displays. The components offer a 115° viewing angle and integrate additional heat sinking capabilities to support high drive currents. Measuring 3.4 mm x 3.2 mm x 2 mm, the family incorporates silicone material to extend light output performance over time. Other features include a full black LED body, silicone encapsulation material for a long operating life, compatibility with reflow soldering processes, low thermal resistance, RoHS compliance, and a moisture sensitivity rating of MSL 2a.
