Sept. 1, 2001

Meeting requirements for 601/2601 Medical Safety, FCC-B, CISPR 11 and the FDA Draft Guidance, the VAMP-SlimVista ultra-thin, flat panel monitor (FPM) features a 15" XGA (1,024 x 768) color TFT LCD and resistive touchscreen. Measuring less than 2" in thickness and weighing 11 lbs., the monitor is light enough to attach to a mounting arm on a desktop or on a wall.Said to connect easily, the monitor requires only one cable, instead of the more common three used for video, RS-232 and power. For further ease, the monitor interfaces with any standard analog signal, as well as with non-VGA signals such as composite, sync-on-green, and NTSC/PAL. The display also features the companyÕs Smart Size capability to take lower resolution video inputs and expand them to fill the entire 1,024 x 768 screen.
