Designed for use in industrial, military, medical and consumer electronics for battery-powered surgical instruments and portable equipment, Intelligent Quickcharger has µP-driven features such as the ability to display existing battery capacity for the end-user, talk to the computer’s CPU via the serial port regarding battery status, and determine if a battery is defective and not just if a simple recharging is needed. The charger performs a recharge to 100% or more of battery capacity, which prevents over charging and extends battery life. Quickcharger will automatically drop to a trickle charge mode when the battery reaches full charge. Power supply range is 84 to 264 vac and unit meets domestic, European and medical safety requirements.
