Lauded as a new-generation Windows CE-based control panel, this device combines the functions of a PLC and an operator panel in a compact, powerful unit, eliminating the need for separate operating and monitoring devices. Bridging the gap between PCs and the traditional PLC, the CP3xxT-Studio-IB control panel is suited for applications that do not require the high-end performance of a PC but still have a need for comprehensive display of vital machine information. User program memory of 48 MB RAM exceeds the capacity of the largest PLCs. The dual-processor design for the control/HMI and the I/O handling give this unit a performance advantage over competitive Windows CE-based operator panels. The CP3xxT-Studio-IB comes in three screen sizes: the CP306 measures 6"; the CP310, 10"; and the CP312, 12". All sizes have bright TFT color touch screens, a built-in device level master, and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port for easy networking. Programs and configuration data may be stored on a removable 32 MB compact flash card. For further information and pricing, call PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 586-5525.
