Available in resistance values of 10 kW, 50 kW, and 100 kW, the AS1506 256- tap, SPI-interfaced nonvolatile digital potentiometer integrates EEPROM with a 150-year data retention at 85°C and the ability to sustain 10 million write cycles at 25°C, one million at 85°C. Operating from a single 2.7 to 5.5V supply, the device consumes a maximum of 500 nA during standby and 200 µA during operation including the CMOS write current.
