The Vinno II (VC0858) mobile multimedia application processor integrates a high-quality video camera and audio codec onto a single 0.13 µm silicon chip. Capable of turning mobile devices into multimedia entertainment centers, the device also integrates 2 MB of embedded SDRAM, MPEG-4 hardware codec, JPEG hardware codec, MP3/AAC audio decoder, ARM/ADPCM voice codec, and a 64-voice wavetable MIDI synthesizer. It serves as a physical bridge between the baseband processor, LCD controller, camera, and audio/video capabilities, and is said to be easy to integrate.
