Chip Has Programmable Post-Processor

Embedded inside a popular a/d converter from Analog Devices, a configurable PulseDSP array of 144 multiply/accumulate cells allows users to post-process data with real-time application-specific digital filtering. In this application, a PulseDSP core is embedded inside a 16-bit sigma-delta a/d converter targeted at general-purpose industrial applications up to ultrasound frequencies.
