Promising ultra-low-jitter performance in the sub pico-second region, the AD9510, AD9511, and AD9512 clock devices also integrate functions that eliminate the need for multiple discrete components. They provide LVPECL outputs, as well as user-selectable LVDS and CMOS options. The LVPECL outputs operate to 800 MHz with an additive jitter of less than 250 fs&subRMS; while the LVDS and CMOS outputs operate up to 800 MHz and 250 MHz, respectively, with an additive jitter less than 300 fsrms. The AD9510 mixes LVPECL, LVDS, and CMOS logic for a total of eight independent clock outputs, and the AD9511 and AD9512 pack five independent outputs. Other shared features include independently programmable clock dividers, programmable delay, and at least one fine-delay-adjust channel with a programmable range from 1 ns to 10 ns. The AD9510 and AD9511 integrate a 1.5-GHz PLL frequency synthesizer and, for applications not requiring a PLL, the AD9512 offers two 1.5-GHz clock inputs and five independent clock outputs. Available in LFCSPs, prices for the AD9510, AD9511, and AD9512 are $11.95, $9.95, and $8.95 each/1,000, respectively. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Wilmington, MA. (800) 262-5643.
