DACs Offer Easy Interface to DSPs & µCs

April 1, 1999

Three new high-speed digital-to-analog converters- the TLV5604, TLV5614, and TLV5616- are billed as the fastest voltage-output DACs with serial interfaces on the market and bring a glueless capability to the design of systems based on the firm's TMS320 DSPs and a variety of industry microcontrollers. The devices operate with supply voltages of 2.7V to 5.5V and offer flexibility in designing a range of stationary and mobile systems. Applications include wireless phones, telecom line cards, mass storage devices, digitally-controlled filters, and industrial process control.
