To enhance ultrasound imaging, the MAX4810, MAX4811, and MAX4812 dual, high-voltage digital pulsers deliver a guaranteed 1.3A minimum output current and employ an active-clamping architecture to reduce the second-harmonic output and allow complete control of each driver's output stage. Suitable applications include portable ultrasound imaging and industrial flaw detection. Each device operates from a single positive supply up to +220V, a single negative supply down to -200V, or dual ±110V supplies. The MAX4810 features clamp-output over-voltage protection while the MAX4811 has pulser- and clamp-output over-voltage protection and the MAX4812 offers pulsing without over-voltage protection. Available in 56-pin, 7 mm x 7 mm TQFN packages, prices start at $6 each/1,000. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
