Targeting high-volume markets such as portable audio players, cellular handsets, and home entertainment, the CEVA-Audio DSP-based audio platform integrates a number of the company's technologies including CEVA-TeakLite-II and the latest version of the CEVA-TeakLite DSP core. The platform teams these technologies with a cache memory subsystem, audio peripherals, a comprehensive set of audio codecs, and complete tool chain support. It is a synthesizable soft IP, operating up to 200 MHz, built on a small DSP core and cache memory subsystem with an overall die size of less than two square millimeters. The device consumes 0.1 mA/MHz when decoding MP3 and supports all industry-standard audio/speech codecs including MP3, WMA, AAC, HE-AAC, Ogg Vorbis, BSAC, NB-AMR, and WB-AMR. Other features include a 3-channel DMA, AMBA 2.0 host interface, and development tools. For further information, call CEVA INC., San Jose, CA. (408) 514-2900.
