LVDS Fan Out Buffers Include Redundant Clocking

Self titled as the industry's first LVDS fan-out devices to offer redundant clocking with glitch-less switchover, the company's line of LVDS fan-out buffers provide controlled switchover to the back-up clock without generating glitches. The buffers exploit CMOS technology and specify a maximum skew of 25 ps and an operating speed of 1 GHz. They are available with outputs of 1:6, 1:10, and 1:16 and include interface I/O translation. Other features include support for HSTL, LVEPECL, LVPECL, LVDS, CML, and LVTTL input signals. Six devices in the line are available in either TQFP and MLF packages with prices ranging from $4.50 to $7.95 each/10,000. INTEGRATED DEVICE TECHNOLOGY INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 345-7015.
