Processor Targets Next Generation Imaging Devices

Designed for charge-coupled device (CCD) or contact image sensor (CIS) systems, the VSP3100 image-signal processor provides a direct interface between the CCD/CIS image sensor and the digital signal processor (DSP). The device offers 14 bits of resolution, a 10-MHz operating speed and each channel contains sensor-signal sampling, black-level adjustment, and a programmable gain amplifier. Pricing is $5 each/1000.
