Schematic capture and high-frequency system analysis are combined in one, easy-to-use GUI in the Symphony simulator for wireless communication systems. The tool adds analog and DSP system analysis capabilities for the design of wired and wireless systems to the Serenade Design Suite. The Symphony tool includes libraries of built-in analog and DSP components for complete, end-to-end simulation of digital wireless systems. Blocks include channel coders, modulators, equalizers, filters, amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and fading channel models.Circuit- and system-level analyses can now be performed from a single GUI. Users are able to move quickly between their circuit and system designs in the Serenade desktop, an intuitive Windows-compliant interface that can house various window types, including schematics, plots or tables of simulation results, and more. Symphony will be available on Windows NT, 95 and 98 this fall.
