Accepting any 12-Vdc source including battery power, the Model MMP-TM55-12V GPk52-046 gear motor measures 2.14" in diameter and 7.2" long with a keyed output shaft of 12 mm in diameter and 25 mm long. Despite its small size, the component delivers 46 in.lb. of continuous torque at 100 rpm. Peak torque is 89 in.lb. Mounting is via four face-mount M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40-mm diameter. The motor requires 7.2A at 12 Vdc to generate its full load torque, translating into long life battery charge, quiet operation, and lower-cost drive electronics. Motor windings for 24V, 36V, 48V, and 90V are also available. MIDWEST MOTION PRODUCTS, Watertown, MN. (952) 955-2626.
