The OPR5013L 13-element infrared LED array is well-suited for use in 13-bit absolute encoder applications. Each of the 13 GaAIAs LEDs in the array is individually tested to ensure consistent and uniform output power. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The arrays' wrap-around, gold-plated mounting pads are compatible with most reflow soldering processes. Alignment holes are provided for positioning the component during mounting or alignment with other components. LEDs are connected with a common anode to reduce the package size and pin count.
