Designed for applications where high force, low cost and compact packaging are important, these linear actuators consist of a NEMA size 23 torque stepping motor and lead screw interface. The motor has dimensions of 1.8" long and can deliver up to 180 lb. of linear force. The compact design can significantly reduce cost by eliminating the gears and couplings normally found in linear motion systems. A hollow shaft motor design accommodates lead screws and ball screws up to 3/8" in diameter for increased column strength. Deeper thread engagement ensures precision accuracy while significantly reducing thread wear for long life. Special lead screws are machined in a choice of materials and lengths to fit virtually any application.
