The DurA-tek 3.0 brushless dc motor is a two-wire drop-in replacement for brush-type dc motors. With its 3" O.D. and two-wire instead of eight-wire electrical hook-up, the motor is completely interchangeable with brush motors. It also offers features such as multi-speed operation, over-temperature shut-down, and transient over-voltage protection. The motors are available in 12V and 24V versions with design life of 20,000 hours. They’re environmentally resistant to hot-water spray, rain, fog, humidity, salt, shock and vibration. Applications are blowers for A/C evaporators and condensers, heaters, defrosters, coolant pumps, and radiator cooling fans.
