The LO-COG 26-mm, brush-commutated dc motors employ seven-slot skewed armatures to reduce cogging and resin-impregnated windings to increase reliability. The motors are available in lengths of 1.798", 1.923", and 2.173" and deliver continuous torque up to 3.17 oz.-in., peak torque up to 20 oz.-in., and speeds up to 9,000 rpm. And an unique cartridge brush assembly is credited for the motor's reduced audible and electrical noise and extended brush life. Other features include bonded neodymium iron boron magnets and diamond-turned commutators. The motors can be customized with optical encoders, cables, shaft modifications, shaft-mounted pulleys and gears, ball bearings, and RFI suppression components. For prices, contact John S.
