For driving ac brushless motors up to 2.5 hp, the Model 7427AC servoamplifier has internal resolver-to-digital circuits to digitize the resolver's analog position/velocity signals. Internal circuits derive sinusoidal U, V and W motor commutation waveforms from the resolver data along with velocity feedback and motor position data in a variety of encoder formats for use by system controllers or PLCs. Unlike digital shaft encoders, resolvers have no internal optical or electrical circuits so they are as rugged as the drive motor. The servoamplifier operates directly from single-phase 32 to 264 vac, and the amplifier's internal dc power supply develops ±20A peak and ±10A continuous power for driving ac brushless servomotors up to 2.5 hp. Dimensions are 7.5" x 2.72" x 7"; weight is 3.71 lbs. A bi-color LED provides operational status.
