The On-Motor controllers are now capable of being custom fit into the company's brushless DC motor frames to eliminate the need for external boxes and wires, while yielding more compact and lighter designs. In essence, they convert multi-wire brushless DC motors into basic two-wire, single-polarity components with open-loop speed control and, depending on winding type, operating with voltages from 12V to 48V and currents up to 8A. Dual-polarity and bi-directional motors are also possible. Additionally, the controllers accommodate shaft speeds from 100 rpm to 15,000 rpm, depending on load conditions.
