Said to provide high-speed and cool operation, a line of 22-mm, autoclavable dc brushless/slotless motors provide no-load speeds from 8,000 to 200,000 rpm. They are also available in non-autoclavable versions. The slotless design is said to eliminate cogging, and a unique magnetic design allows efficiencies up to 90%. Options include Hall-sensor and sensorless versions and planetary gearboxes and optical encoders.
