Devices Act As Thermal Cutoffs

May 1, 1999

Designed to provide protection from overheating for a wide variety of electronic appliances, personal care products, electric motors, cellular telephones, and office equipment, STC Series thermal cutoffs act as a temperature-sensitive thermal fuse. When the operating temperature exceeds the fuse's upper temperature limit, the fuse melts, opening permanently. Eight terminal configurations are available in 26 temperature ranges. Maximum electrical load is 10A/15A at 250V.
