Exploiting magnetic current sensing technology, the CSS and CSC series digital current switches suit HVAC/R, industrial, and lighting applications that rely on electric motors to drive various components. The CSC model employs a split core and supports retrofit installations while the CSS has a solid core with a wide orifice for easy pass-through of the wire or cable, making it viable for new installations. As excitation is via magnetic induction, both units are self-powered. The solid-state switches are available with a 135A or 200A output and very low, fixed or user-adjustable set points. The CSS series hosts three models, which are available with set points as low as 0.25A and the CSC series features five models with set points as low as 0.15A.
