For motor-run applications where high PWM and other feedback currents are present on the line frequency, the 5MPA series dry-film capacitors provide bolt-down terminations at voltage ratings to 530 Vac. Capacitance values up to 10 µF come with brass-bolt termination and values up to 100 µF come with a bridge-and-bolt termination. Both types include multiple internal soldered contact points for high current distribution and current handling. Other features include continuous operation up to 85ûC, current handling from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, and current handling capabilities up to 83 ARMS from 2 kHz to the resonant frequency. Depending on power requirements, prices range from $7 to $75 each. For more details, call Michael Mosiello at ELECTRONIC CONCEPTS, INC., Eatontown, NJ. (732) 542-7880.
