A rugged magnetic sensor designed for non-contact encoder applications, the MDFK magnetic sensor transmits angular information tracked off a multi-pole magnet which generates a digital, squarewave, and offset signals that can be fed into electronic circuits to establish the direction, angle and speed of rotation. When used with the firm's ring magnet of 18-pole pairs and a leading and trailing edge detector, this sensor can generate up to 1152 ppr.
