By simply pointing the LTP-1 laser temperature probe at a target, users can attain a reading in just one second. The handheld, battery-operated sensor safely, quickly, and accurately measures temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or Centigrade using non-contact infrared technology. The device also has a continuous reading feature for thermal scanning with a 6-second temperature hold. Electrical uses include detection of fuses, wires, insulators, connectors, transformers and overloaded motors due to harmonic currents. Other features include a temperature range of 0 to 600°F; emissivity fixed at 0.95; auto hold and auto power off; and a 3:1 field of view.
