Linear Motor Stages Stand Alone And Travel Long

Sept. 21, 2011
The stand-alone IMS-LM-SA Series long-travel linear motor stages exploit a stiff-body design and are available in 800-, 1,000-, and 1,200-mm travel versions.

The stand-alone IMS-LM-SA Series long-travel linear motor stages exploit a stiff-body design and are available in 800-, 1,000-, and 1,200-mm travel versions.  They do not require ultra flat mounting surfaces, making them suitable for research and light industrial tasks. Features include industrial-grade direct drive linear motors, direct read linear encoders, recirculating ball bearings, and a stiff, FEA-optimized aluminum base. The components also use a four-point mounting method. NEWPORT CORP., Irvine, CA. (800) 222-6440.
