Designed to save users time in determining the most suitable linear actuator, the company’s online VCA Calculation Tool calculates the optimum linear voice coil actuator size for a given application. Useable in a number of ways, viewers download the tool from the pull-down products menu at the company’s website. They enter the desired operational stroke and moving mass values for the application in the row that most closely matches their desired parameters.  Based on the parameters entered, the computer calculates the actuator's maximum acceleration and frequency values and provides the optimum actuator size to select.  The user then reviews the acceleration and frequency values calculated.
