To simplify the integration of SQUIGGLE piezoelectric micro motors, the SQL-1.8-6-12-SS sports a new stainless-steel housing that simplifies mounting. The 2.7 mm x 2.8 mm x 6 mm motor mounts easily with snap-in tabs or adhesive, i.e., a variety of suggested mounting techniques include the use of snap clamps to hold the mounting tabs, epoxy or adhesive tape to bond the bottom of the housing to a system structure, and several different screw-on clamping options. The SQL-1.8-6-12-SS SQUIGGLE motors feature a 6-mm travel range, 0.5-?m resolution, speeds greater than 7 mm/s, and a stall force of 30g. A complete evaluation kit including an SQL-1.8-6-12-SS motor, controller, New Scale Pathway software, and all connector cables is available now starting at $450 each.
