Sept. 1, 1999

Offered in kit form, the MVP2001 motion control modules are compliant with DeviceNet specifications and include a motion control module with integrated linear or PWM amplifier, power supply, demo software, cabling, and a gearmotor+encoder or motor+encoder of users' choice. The controllers can communicate via RS-232, RS-485 (multi-drop) or DeviceNet (CAN) protocols. An optional MACRO programming module allows the motion routines to be downloaded for free-standing operation. Only one MACRO module is required to operate up to 63 axes of motion.
