Microstepping 25,000 steps per revolution, Size 11 Medical Motors are for use with mechanical manipulators used in neurosurgery applications. The motors are 1.8° steppers that weigh 0.2 lb. and have a 1.1" diameter for performance in small spaces. They are constructed with pins and a locator dowel that allows easy assembly by technicians wearing rubber gloves. Size 11 Medical Motors are designed to be sterilized with alcohol and facilitate assembly of the machine in sterile environments. Users have sent these motors through steam cleaning in autoclaves up to six times without impacting normal operation.
