Panel Pot Withstands Two Million Cycles

Panel Pot Withstands Two Million Cycles

Featuring up to four modules and a linearity down to 2%, the 12.5-mm P11L panel potentiometer specifies a two-million cycle lifespan. The device is optimized for CMOS amplifier gain, CMOS IC offset setting, motor-speed control, and angle sensor applications and its cermet element promises better stability than carbon elements while a 1.5-kVrms dielectric strength offers greater reliability. Other features include a choice of 6-mm and 6.35-mm shaft diameters and 29 terminal styles, custom shafts, harness, connectors, and value-added options, a typical operating torque from 1 to 2.1 oz.-in., an end stop torque of 6.8 lb. per inch, standard resistance values of 1 kΩ, 5 kΩ, 10 kΩ, and 50 kΩ, a contact resistance variation of 2 % or 3Ω, and a TCR of ± 150 ppm/°C. Pricing starts at $5 each in small quantities and $2.50 each in large quantities. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY, INC., Malvern, PA. (619) 336-0860.
