Providing what is said to be Class-A accuracy, the surface-mount SA1-RTD mounts on flat or curved surfaces and employs a 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.8 mm thin-film platinum RTD. The component comes in PFA-insulated 3- or 4-wire configurations with connectors available as an option. Offered in 1m, 2m, 3m, and custom lengths, the SA1-RTD can be tailored for use in a variety of applications including IC monitoring, on heat sinks, and for monitoring environmental temperatures. Other applications include checking piping or ducting temperatures, monitoring motor and transformer core heat, and testing insulation capabilities. Price starts at $50 each.
