Targeting high-performance applications, the ELCOM ST Series N2300 slotted brushless DC (BLDC) motors employ Hall sensor feedback for linear speed-torque characteristics, high starting torque, and variable speed control. Their 6-slot lamination design is said to contribute to high power, fast acceleration, consistent operation, and long service life. Applications include data storage, medical/biotech, semiconductor processing, and automation. Integrating neodymium iron boron magnets, the motors are available in four standard stack lengths: 0.5", 1", 1.5", and 2". Speeds range up to 8,000 rpm and continuous torque spans to 40 oz.-in.
