Packaged in hermetically-sealed, surface-mount outlines, the CMI-5505-CHR, 7007-CHR and 6009-CHR power MOSFETS are claimed to be ideally suited for applications such as switching power supplies, inverters, audio amplifiers, motor control, and other commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications. They feature a gate-to-source voltage of ±20V, drain-to-source voltages of 50, 70 and 90V, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
Collectively known as the performance enhanced package (PEP), these devices are claimed to be specifically designed to minimize electrical resistance and thermal losses. In addition, they are also said to exceed the current handling capabilities of similar package designs. Pricing is $37.50 each/1,000 with delivery from stock to four weeks.
