A solid state PWM switching device, the MMP20A-12V-RSP motor speed control module includes a built-in reversing switch and speed adjust potentiometer. The module provides bi-directional, open loop, dc motor speed control and is well-suited for all battery-powered applications that require adjustable speed of a dc motor or gear motor. Able to deliver 20A continuous current at 12 Vdc, this compact 4.5" x 3.1" x 1" control delivers the current required to power most brushed dc motors, by delivering 240W of continuous output power. With the latest design enhancement, the module is now capable of delivering up to 40A of peak current, for a peak output power capacity of 480W. The design is fully encapsulated, enabling it to meet the IP-65 standard rating for resistance to the elements and harsh environments. The outer casing is brushed aluminum, and two 6.35 mm diameter thru-holes are provided for easy mounting to any flat heatsinking surface. A set of four quick-connect terminals is provided for connecting to power. For further information, contact Randy Cordes at MIDWEST MOTION PRODUCTS, S. E. Watertown, MN. (952) 955-2626.
