A new family of NEMA size 23, high-torque stepping motors are claimed to boost power to over 1.5 times that of similar size stepping motors. An extensive range of options are said to provide design flexibility for solving unique system problems.

A new family of NEMA size 23, high-torque stepping motors are claimed to boost power to over 1.5 times that of similar size stepping motors. An extensive range of options are said to provide design flexibility for solving unique system problems. Options include a choice of several windings for bipolar and unipolar drives with four and six leads, respectively. Motors can be furnished with five or eight leads and other cable options. The 2.22" square motors measure 1.75", 2.21" and 3.09" in length and deliver holding torques up to 250 oz./in. Other features include totally enclosed construction with steel laminations and permanently lubricated ball bearings.
