Touted as being able to deliver 1.5 times more torque than standard stepper motors of similar size, these NEMA-sized 17 motors (1.65" in diameter) are available in 1.3", 1.5" and 1.9" lengths and provide holding torques up to 58 oz.-in. The motors use a steel-lamination construction that result in lower operating temperatures and feature permanently lubricated bearings and low detent torque. Based on 1.8° step angles, the two-phase hybrid step motors achieve a bi-directional position accuracy of ±3%. They are available from stock with four- and six-lead windings for use with bipolar and unipolar drives, respectively.
