Described as a low-cost alternative to high-torque linear actuators, the UKE series stepping motors provide almost three times the force, 250N as opposed 88N, in a smaller package. They provide a 0.031 mm linear travel per step, maximum linear travel to 30 mm, and a maximum static force to 500N. Additionally, the motors can be stopped when voltage is applied without overheating. Mountable in any position, other features include IP40 protection, a thermal class A rating according to IEC 85, and an operating temperature range from –15°C to +60°C. Target applications include medical, pneumatic valve control, pump regulation, large-valve modulation, HVAC, and valve actuation.
