Designed to help meet the 99.999999% (6-sigma) quality objectives demanded of today's telecom equipment, the FaultSleuth advanced database diagnostic tool is said to quickly identify very low-rate individual fault causes. It claims to be able to identify the common factors between 10 failures sparsely distributed among one-million good calls in seconds. The application introduces a new database diagnostic concept with extremely fast filter, sort, search and collate. Three separate hierarchical data views summarize calls and events to allow the user to examine traffic in a variety of ways, helping to progressively identify error common factors and possible causes. The software can also analyze the traffic database off-line on a configured PC, releasing the test system for more traffic load tests.
