Intel’s Edison is a compact module that packs a 22 nm, 64-bit, dual core, Silvermont Atom along with a 32-bit Intel Quark onto 35.5 mm by 25 mm board. Designed with the Maker community in mind, the Edison development platform is ideal for the rapid prototyping and production of IoT computing products. Edison was cropping up all around the 2014 Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in robots, control systems and other embedded devices.
