Encirq and Metrowerks combined their talents to create the CodeWarrior Development Studio for HC(S)12, Data Expert Edition. The system supports Motorola's HCS12 microcontrollers (MCUs). The Data Expert add-on is integrated with the CodeWarrior integrated debugging environment (IDE) 5.5. It supports the Encirq PL programming language. The Encirq database run time can fit into as little as 22 kbytes. The CodeWarrior Development Studio for HC(S)12, Data Expert Edition costs $7995. Run-time licensing for database applications is available for as little at $1.
