Fanless Embedded Box PCs Boast Up To Quad-Core Performance, Flexible Expansion

The ARK-3500 and ARK-3510 series of fanless embedded box PCs are designed to support an rPGA socket-type full range of processors, from third-generation/second-generation i7 quad core, Core i5, and Core i3 to Intel Celeron dual-core processors with up to 45-W support with QM77 Panther Point Mobile PCH. They support 2 DDR3/DDR3L SODIMM memory slots up to 16 Gbytes. The ARK-3500 has dual expansion slots with two PCI or PCIe x1 + PCIe x4 interfaces. It’s compatible with an isolated AIO/DIO card and motion control card for factory automation, camera link card for machine vision, and video-capture card for surveillance. The flexible ARK-3510 features optional MIOe module support for extended I/O. It can offer six different SKUs for different applications (e.g., adding an MIOe-229 module for up to five GigaLAN ports). Both PCs can support two more MiniPCIe interfaces with two SIM holders, as well as Wi-Fi, 3G, LTE 4G, and GPS modules for wireless connectivity. Storage options include two hard drives or SSD/2 mSATA/Cfast. Input power ranges from 9 to 34 V at 12 V dc. Operating temperature ranges from ‒10 to approximately 60°C with an SSD.
