I/O Modules Get GL Thumbs Up

Feb. 25, 2011
The 753 Series pluggable I/O modules and high-density 16-point I/O modules have earned GL marine approval.

The 753 Series pluggable I/O modules and high-density 16-point I/O modules have earned GL marine approval. The 753 Series provides pluggable field wiring via 753-110 pluggable connectors and targets applications such as marine systems requiring removal of a module in the fieldbus node without disturbing existing wiring. The separation of function and wiring layers enables the modules to eliminate wiring errors while expediting changeover via pre-wired connectors. Other features include coding options, strain relief, and direct testing for commissioning and maintenance. The 16-point I/O modules feature 16 inputs, 16 outputs, or eight inputs/eight outputs in a 12-mm wide module. They are available with either CLAMP S spring pressure connections or an HE10 flat ribbon cable connection. WAGO CORP., Germantown, WI. (800) 346-7245.
