Building on the abilities of the LabVIEW design platform, LabVIEW SignalExpress interactive measurement software promises to simplify data logging, instrument control, and academic instruction right out of the box with no programming required. The app provides an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop environment for controlling literally hundreds of measurement devices. Via a few mouse clicks, users can acquire live measurements, log data to disk, and export it to spreadsheet applications. Data-logging features include alarm monitoring and condition logging. Additionally, users can generate LabVIEW graphical programming code with a single mouse click to extend applications with original user interfaces or add custom logic for more advanced data-logging applications.
